Adrienne Marie Barrios is editor-in-chief of Reservoir Road Literary Review and the indefinitely closed CLOVES Literary. She is co-author of the poetry collection Too Much Tongue (Autofocus, 2022), written collaboratively with Leigh Chadwick, and her debut solo collection We Don’t Know That This Is Temporary (Stanchion Books, 2024). Her work has appeared in trampset, Passages North, Rejection Letters, Stanchion, and HAD, among many others journals. She has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and for Best Microfiction. She edits anthologies and award-winning novels and short stories.
Adrienne is autistic and has ADHD and struggles daily with chronic illnesses and disability. Many days, she struggles simply to exist, but the pain borne of those days gives way to a creativity she isn’t sure she would’ve found otherwise. It is this dark creativity that inspired her to found Reservoir Road Literary Review.
